MG Car Repair: Key Switch on Steering Post, set screw, key switch

Question
Hello and thank you for your Help.  I have a 1979 MG Midget.  The back of the key switch fell apart and the wiring harness just fell out.  I need to replace the key switch.  The top of the steering lock looks likes plugs with no easy way to remove.  I need to replace just the key switch and harness.  Any suggestions. Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Vernon,
The electrical part of the switch assembly comes out of the switch assembly and is held in by a small set screw in the side of the switch assembly. If the electrical switch is bad you don't have to remove the tumbler/lock assembly, just insert the new switch into the unit and secure with the small set screw.
