Mitsubishi Repair: engine tcl light comes on by itself, th model, autozone

I have a 2000 magna sports sedan th model and when you drive along the engine & tcl light comes on by itself.What does this mean and how can i fix this problem.

Scott: The car's computer is picking up a problem in the car's system and so putting on that light. If you have an AutoZone close by I believe they will coded your car for free which would tell you what the computer is picking up. Other wise take the car to your dealership and have them code it. Either way I would say you have some kind of a problem with a sensor someplace and the computer is letting you know by kicking on that light. Hope this helps. God bless: Linda
