Mitsubishi Repair: 90 montero, black boxes, fuses

Question
The problem I a;m having seems to be no spark.  I believe I have chased back to no voltage at dist. the 4 wires R G W B on a working engine have voltage only on the red wire a little over 5 volts. This one has none. Is there a fuse or a way of checking back to find the current or ?

Answer
Nick: When standing in front of your car with the hood open there are in with the engine are two or three black boxes. In them are larger fuses and relays. On the tops of the boxes it explains what each relay or fuse is for. I would be checking in those boxes to see if they might explain your problem. As I am thinking one of those larger fuses blew or maybe your car has a bad relay. One thing to check those relays you will need a flashlight because sometimes they are hard to see, but also remove the neg cable off the battery before putting in the new relay or you will blow it right off the bat so doing it all over again. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
