Michael: Got an AutoZone close by? You can take your car to them and they will code it for free. That way you will find out if you have a weak sensor(s) or a problem with your computer. There wise if the sensor and computer checks out ok, I would have the fuel pump checked. The sensors are all over your car, they send their readings to the computer and in but a few seconds the computer sets the car to run. If one or more sensors are out or weak; that messes up the computer and then would bring on that engine light. Hope this helps and good luck!

Answer
Michael: If they think it is the computer, it most likely is. You can either have the computer rebuild as there is a lot of companies on the internet that will do this. Buy a new one or either try a junk yard to get another one for your car. Mitsubishi farmed out the building of their computers to another company which did not build very good ones. A piece in the computer will go bad, with time start to leak on other pieces and with time will kill off the computer. So it is most likely your computer. But are you sitting down, do you know what a new computer will cost for your car? So check around and find the best cost for one. Do hope you get your car running soon. Hope this helps and good luck!
