Motorcycle Repair: Transmission Sproket, torque wrench, sproket

How difficult will it be to replace and will I need special tools for a 1980 FXWG. I'm considering having HD Service do it.

Yes you need special tools. and torque wrench's.  H-D service manual. you have to remove the outer and inner primary. clutch and motor sprocket, stater has to be unbolted from the inner primary. Let a shop with the right tools do the work right the first time.. I always fix bikes where the customer just got done fixing it.   God bless and good luck. Southside Johnny...
