Motorcycle Repair: oil is spitting out while i am riding, rocker boxes, couple areas

Question
I have a 99 HD 1200 sportster my bike was back firing when i hit 3000 rpm and shut off...i cleaned the carb and now its not back firing and running okay but my bike has oil on the front of my seat, on the exhaust pipe right where it connects to the head and couple areas within that spot after i ride it...any idea what i should do???

First, you need to locate where the is coming from. Clean the oil off really well and start the bike and let it idle.Take a flashlight and look for a leak. You might have to rev it a little. If you dont see it take the bike for a short ride and stop and look. I would suppect its coming fro the rocker boxes
