I have a head gasket leak and decided to send out heads for rework and
bigger valves. Got heads back and they took off .060 now my domed pistons
are too high. They told me to send pistons to them and they would grind off
the difference. My worry is that I will burn a hole through thinner dome??
What do you think?

Answer
That is going to depend on how thin they make the piston. removing .060 from the heads, you would have to remove .060 from the pistons to make them work. You have to have enough piston to valve clearence or they will hit at high RPMs. I would check with the piston manufacture and see what they think about removing metal from there piston
Good luck and happy riding
