when i push the strart button it clicks under the seat in a black box near the battery

Two wires coming from the black box that clicks (the starter solenoid)One will go to the battery and one will go to the starter motor.Turn on the ignition and check the wire going to the starter it should be 12 volts when you push the starter button.If no 12 volts replace the solenoid if you get 12 volts starter is bad.
