Motorcycle Repair: Converting 77 FXE Super Glide To Wide Glide, size 35mm, fxe

Would like to change to wide glide front end with single disk but tube size(35mm to 41mm) and headlight(mounting bracket with wires under vizor) are my problem. How would you change it with simplicity and as little expense as possible.

What you are going to have to do is buy a complete fork assembly to do the change. You can still use the same wheel, just have to space it different.
The wires under the visor are to the idiot lights that are there. You can remove them if you wish.
