Motorcycle Repair: 01 sportster has no spark, sportster, 12 volts

Question
I stopped the bike for gas 3 months ago and it didn't restart for 45 min. It ran fine since then. It got to cold for me to ride but I have been starting it every couple of weeks and letting it run about 10 min. This week it wont start. It is getting fuel and I checked the primary and secondary on the coil with an a meter and got 2.8 and 11.500ohms. I get roughly 12 volts to both primary posts when the key is on. I am low on funds do you have any other checks I can check.

Answer
First, let me say, that its not a good idea for you to start your bike in the winter and let it idle for about 10 minutes. the motor doesnt get warm enough to evaporate the moisture that has gotten in the fluids. You are better off letting it sit.
Pull your plugs and holding one to the head, thurnt he motor over and see if youa re getting spark and let me know
