Motorcycle Repair: bolt pattern, harley davidson fxst, inch pounds

I need to know what the bolt pattern for the primary case is on my 1984 harley davidson fxst.
where the long bolts go and the short bolts go.

Don,

the longest bolts go near the rear and then
work your way forward.
Best way is to drop the bolts into
the cover and see how much thread is showing.
That way you can make sure none are too long.
The primary cover should be tightened
in stages diagonally to prevent warpage.
Tighten bolts to 100 INCH pounds which is only
about 9 or 10 ft lbs.
Blue Loctite is optional.
