Hi, I have a KAWA ninja 1000cc 1986  it is leaking gasoline from the carburator, or part close to the choke.  It is runing but it is so danger because it leaking a lot of gasoline. The space it is small from the gas tank and the body. I AM desperate. I sent for tune up above  1 year but I was not using it often.

Hi Miguel.

There are a few possibilities and here they are;

1) The floats are sticking open and flooding the carbs.

2) The float seals are bad and leaking, even though the floats are still working right.

3) Seals, other than the floats, in the carbs are leaking and need replacement.

4) The carbs are dirty and need cleaning.

5) Two or more of the above problems.

Get the repair manual to reference the specs.
