Motorcycle Repair: new bike checks, honda shadow ace, 1996 honda shadow ace

I just picked up a 1996 honda shadow ace 1100 but don't know the maintenance history of it, at 15k miles what do suggest I check/change? oil, coolant of course...both filters too? what about pads? drive oil? any areas to pay particular attention to?

The best advice I can give you is to get a copy of the service manual specific to your Shadow. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule outlined in the manual.

The service manual will pay for itself with the first repair or maintenance you perform.
