Motorcycle Repair: Fule Injection vs Carboration, suzuki boulevard c90, electronic fuel injection

Question
Mark,
I previously sent you a couple of emails asking about used bikes.(Yamaha Road Star vs Suzuki Intruder) I found through my 'homework' that with a few more dollars, and year end deals I can actually get a new bike. My question is: I can get a new 2004 Suzuki Intruder LC1500(VL1500) for $7500 and a new 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90 for $8,000. The motor appears to be identical with the exception of the 2004 has a carb and beginning in 2005 they went to fuel injection. As I plan to keep the bike for a number of years, is it worth the extra money for the fuel injected model? What are the benefits and draw backs to each? Where would be a good place to research this? Thanks again for your advise.
John

Answer
Hi John,

Electronic fuel injection is more efficient than carburetion. With EFI, fuel is metered precisely  electronically.

My money is on the Boulevard.

Learn about EFI by searching on the internet. Check out this link:
