Motorcycle Repair: V2K taillight bulb, light conversion, auto parts stores

i have a 2004 vulcan 2000 and want to change my taillight bulb to LED but the buld is not an 1156 or 1157 kawasaki wont tell me what size bulb it is. the bulb has a wedge shaped base can you tell me what type bulb it is and do they (anyone)make an LED bulb that will work or do i have to change the light fixture? hope you can understand the question thanks ...

Hi Ralph,

Unlike the older 1157's and 2057's, the Vulcan's bulbs are the push in solid glass type. You may be able to find them is auto parts stores if you carry one of the old bulbs for comparison.
