Mike I wanted to say thank you for your responce and also you said I didn't give you an email. My emial is d.alan.jones@gmail.com.

I will be cleaning the carbs and removing the bottom chambers over the weekend. If I can't get the screws  out of the bottom I will remove the whole assy. and soak it in carb cleaner.
THanks for your input and I will let you know how it goes

Doug,

I sent tech files to your email addy.

A word of caution, do not soak the carbs without removing all interior parts.

Also, float bowl screws will come out even when the heads are worn. You must use a tool suited for the task.
