Motorcycle Repair: sprockets, yamaha fzr1000, gearing calculator

hi ihave a 1990 yamaha fzr1000 iam replacing the chain and sprockets. the standard gearing is 17t front & 47t rear it pulls 105 kmh in first gear.i want to gear it down a bit for city riding and am looking at dropping the front sprocket 2 teeth would this be ok or would 1 tooth be better.
