Questionim trying to wire a1993 dr650 suz,no lights ect. motor has 8 wires,3yellow,1black and 1biege togather,1blue and 1green togatherand 1 blue. what do i do to get it running? coil has black and black w/white Please help. thanks chris.

Reply: I don't have the service manual, nor the wiring diagram for the DR650. I checked all of my resources for the manual with negative results.
The three yellow wires are likely altenator output leads. One from the charging coil, one from lighting coil, and one from source coil.
Other leads are for ignition pick-up coil, ground, and ???? I would need to see the wiring diagram to know.
I recommend that you get a copy of the service manual and check out the wiring diagram. Check your local library for service manuals.
