Answer
Hi Brian, great question. Yes there is a few critical areas to be addressed. To avoid a Spring Carb cleaning bill you should drain the carburators float bowls. Turn off the petcock if it has an OFF postition and locate the drain screws at the very bottom of the carbs..they should be pointed at you for access, they may be allen heads so you need a long allen wrench. If possible attach a piece of clear vinyl tubing to drain spout on float bowl, run the other end into a jar. Open the screw and drain the fuel out. Next fill the fuel tank full of fuel, this will eliminate rust forming in the tank. Your battery should come inside and be trickle charged once a month. Or get a battery tender ..$30.00. Spray the engine and exhast pipes with a light coat of WD40. Drain the engine oil and refill with fresh oil, Cover your machine up with blankets or a good cover and your done.   Piece of cake
