Nissan Repair: removal of door panel, generic instructions, putty knife

I need to remove the passenger right door panel to check why the window falls down.  I cannot figure out how to remove the panel.  Thank you

Hi Maggie -

The door panel is usually removed by unsnapping the plastic hold-downs near the edges of the panel. The best thing to use is a putty knife, prying it gently off at each snap. Be careful, as the panel is only fiberboard.

There may be some places that is held down by screws, such as near the arm rest (if so equipped). I am assuming you have power windows, so ensure you disconnect the harness behind the switches as well.
