Nissan Repair: 1997 Nissan Altima, crank sensor, nissan altima

where is the knock sensor and crank sensor located and how do i get to it.  Car will not pass emissions test.  Thanks.

Hi Gena -

The knock sensor is located on the intake manifold, near or under the rubber intake boot. Sometuimes it is a pain to get to, but once there, easy to replace.

Crank sensor is near the transmission.
