in the mornings before fully warmed up the truck acts like the choke is sticky even though its tbi the motor is the z24 4 cyl it will smoke black and hesitate and then die if i hold the gas to the floor it will start blow a bunch of black smoke and then clear out and run fine the rest of the day its done this the past two mornings

Hi Jason -

Have you tried cleaning the throttle butterfly valve?
Don't use carb cleaner, there is a special spray for that.

Other than that it could be running very rich in cold mode. Check the cold start valve to see if it is sticking.
