How do I take studs off a 1995 nissan Maxima?

Hi Genevieve -

I assume you are speaking of the studs on the hub of either the brake drum or disc?

If so, they are removed by getting a punch and hammer, center the punch on the stud to be removed and pound sharply with the hammer. It should come right out.

To install, simply insert the stud from behind and finish by placing the wheel on the hub and tighten the lug nuts normally.
