1999 NISSAN QUEST TIGHTEN POWER STEERING BELT

It sucks but the power steering belt is tightened by taking tension off the pivot bolt and then the one that holds tension.  The tension one is the pain since you need a long extension and you go in from the other side.  That is, get an extension and the socket and snake it to the back of the pump to get the tension off.  Now, get a second person to pry on the pump bracket, not the housing, and while the tension is on the unit tighten the bolt.  With that bolt tight go to the pivot bolt and tighten that one and you are done.  I think the pivot is a 13 and the other is a 14 millimeter.
