Nissan Repair: Ignition coil fuse blowing, volt ohm meter, haynes manual

I have a 2007 Nissan champ when i start the car it idles for about 5min then blows the ignition coil fuse.I have already checked that the coil doesn't overheat and I checked that the voltage regulator puts out the correct voltage what can i look for else

The coil is probably shorted internally.  It does not have to get hot to be shorted.  The easiest way to check the coil is to perform an ohms check using a digital volt ohm meter.  Get  Haynes Manual or a factory service manual for your vehicle and check it.  Email me back if you ahve further questions.
