I have a 1987 nissan hardbody pickup 4x4 motors bad in it and I would like to swap the engine to a small block chevy 350 and I want to know if I can buy some kind of adaptor that will bolt up the original nissan 5 speed transmission to the chevy 350 and if I did have to change out the transmission what would I have to do about the transfer case Thanks

I would look at Transdapt to see if there is an application for your model.  But, what I have seen is that people do a complete swap of the engine, transfer case and transmission.  And, then have the driveshafts cut and the Chevy ends put on the Nissan driveshafts.  It would cost about $100 bucks for each driveshaft to be cut and balanced for the swap.  You would need to fabricate engine mounts and the crossmember for the transmission/transfer case.
