Nissan Repair: AC/ Heat, nissan pickup truck, nissan pickup

Question
I went out to start my sons 1991 Nissan pickup truck this week on a cold morning and the heater would not blow any air out. I switched to the a/c and still nothing would blow out.Could this be a blower problem?

Answer
Dana,

Check the blower fuse first.  But, if you get no air blowing on any speed it would probably be the blower motor.  You can check it with a test light at the blower motor under the passenger side of the dash.  Unplug and check for power with the key on and have someone run through the different speeds.  The faster the setting the light should get brighter.  If no light then the switch is defective and if there is light that means the blower is defective.
