Nissan Repair: 94 nissan pathfinder head lights, phillips screwdriver, nissan pathfinder

My pathfinder 94 xe model head lights want stay on. They will come on but shortly they will cut off about 5min later. Do you think its a fuse or some lose wire. And if so were do I look. Thanks

If the headlights both turn off at the same time then it is the headlight switch.  Nissan uses fuses for the lights so if it were a fuse they would not come on at all.  If they stay on for a few minutes the problem is in the contacts on the headlight switch.  This is the one that the blinkers are on too.  Under $100 bucks and it only takes a phillips screwdriver to change.  Checkk rockauto.com if you can wait for shipping or go to your local parts store if you have to have the switch really fast.
