Nissan Repair: 1993 Nissan Maxima stalling, crank shaft, fuel pump relay

Question
I have a 93 Maxima that stalls periodically and loses power while driving. The car always has restarted and so far I have replaced the ignition coils, crank shaft sensor, and the fuel pump and put platinum spark plugs in. It appears to be a fuel problem to me. I have had it looked at but car always runs fine for the mechanics and no code ever shows up. Could this be a defective fuel pump?

Answer
Kurt,

It could be a defective fuel pump or fuel pump relay.  I would first check the fuel pressure and make sure it was within specifications.  I would replace the relay first and if that did not solve the problem then I would be looking at the fuel pump.  Now, you have replaced the fuel filter?  If not do that first.  Then, check the pressure and if it is running low replace the relay first and then the pump if the relay did not do the job.
