Nissan Repair: Nissan vanette (cargo) water pump change, nissan vanette cargo, metric sockets

Just wondered if its easy or difficult to change a water pump on a Nis.Vanette (Cargo) 2.3D  1996.  Do you know if it involves the timing belt or any specialist tools?

I have not done one of these and I would get a Haynes manual to be sure of the specifics.  The pump is not difficult on any Nissan.  But, some use it as a idler for the timing belt.  There are really no special tools other than metric sockets and wrenches.
