Nissan Repair: Turn signal problem, nissan stanza, left turn signal

I have a 1985 nissan stanza that the left turn signal will not work with the headlights on.The light stays on steady front and rear and the indicator light on the dash also stays on steady.When head lights are off it works fine,lights flash front and rear and indicator light on dash flashes like its supposed to.

Check the 1175 turn indicator bulbs as one of the filaments has grounded to the running filaments.  Basically, I would change the bulbs on the side of the car that do the turn indication and if they do the brake lights do them too.  If you look carefully you can actually see the filament where it touches the other one in the bulb.
