Nissan Repair: headlights; transmission, nissan pathfinder, mail relays

Question
I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder LE.  The park lights work but headlights won't.  I've checked the mail relays, bulbs, and fuses.  I recently had a driver's door put on it after it was hit on the driver's side.  Also...the transmission won't switch from second to third gear.

Answer
Thomas,

The headlight problem should be related to the headlight switch.  Nissan uses contacts in the switch to turn on the lights.  Replace the headlight switch.  I assume it is an automatic?  If so, there is a transmission shift control that is possibly out.  Have a transmission shop check the computer codes.
