Question
I have been working on a 200SX for about three weeks now, and still havent got it running yet. Ive replaced the EFI relay and safety relay. I also cleaned the injectors. The car turns over as usual but it wont start, using common sense i sprayed starter fluid in the throttle chamber and it started right up. Can you please try to help me before i just say forget it and blow it up!

Answer
Thomas,

If it starts with starting fluid and then won't run you know it is getting fire to the plugs.  Now, you need to see if it is getting fuel pressure to the injectors.  You can get a coffee can and take the fuel ine off and turn the key on to see of you get adequate fuel flow.  But, be sure to have someone with a fire extinguisher as a watcher to keep things safe.  If you have pressure then you are looking at the injectors, relays, triggering device and such.  I would check the pressure first and then listen to the injectors with a screwdriver touching them to see if they are clicking.  If they are clicking then it would be the computer control like the sensor.  Check these out and email me back.
