Plymouth Repair: 99 Plym voyager, transmission control module, slow application

Question
QUESTION: When I start my car it drive good for awhile than the engine light come on, and the dashboard gauge stop working, and my rear wiper don't work. Once it park for awhile and I start it up everything is fine until I drive it for awhile. I had it check by autozone and it's saying that the TCM failed what is that.

ANSWER: Hey,

The TCM is the Transmission Control Module.  It would be highly doubtful that it would cause problems with the dash and rear wiper. Thats sounds like a BCM problem.

ANSWER: Hi Elaine,

Before i answer this question can you tell me a couple of things?

-  does this happen all at once?  Is everything including wipers fine until one moment and everything quits?
-  Are you have any transmission symptoms? do you have late shifts? slow application?

QUESTION: Hi Wayne
Yes it happen all at once and when it happen the abs light come on. I don't seem to be having any problem with my transmission, no shift,or slow start. My mechanic told me that if I replace my TCM that might take care of my dash board problem. Need help don't want to waste my money on something that will not fix the problem.

Answer
I don't think replacing the TCM will cure the dash problem unless the datastream UART from the TCM is pulling down the info from the cluster and not allowing the comptuers to communicate.  I wouldnt be able to advise on this without looking at it myself.  Sorry.
