Pontiac Repair: 2001 pontiac aztek cluster

Question
Hi. On my Aztec the tac, speedometer, gas and temp gauge all quit working. All on zero do not pas go. Zilt is this a fuse if so which one do I check for this problem or is it a cluster problem. It just quit working yesterday. If it is the cluster could you share a link on how to  remove and change the cluster in a 2001 Pontiac Aztec. Thank you very much for your time and advice.

Answer
Hi Robert:
did anything else quit on this other then the cluster? does the PRNDLL light work to indicate what gear you in or is that dead also? chances are that it's just the cluster quit. there are 2 fuses that feed the cluster I doubt it blew a fuse because those 2 fuses feed more ten just the cluster that's why I asked if anything else quit. the 2 fuses are in the center console fuse panel fuse labeled IMPDL and Ign 0. if those are not blown then I would suspect the cluster is bad. good luck getting a used one a lot of states restrict speedo's from being sold due to they may have less miage then your car does and in essence it's rolling back the odometer. you can get one exchange from any GM dealer there are a few regional repair places that all the GM dealers get them from. I would suspect that they cost somewhere between $250.00 - $300.00. Let me try this for replacement there are pictures so It may not paste correctly. It did work but no pictures and I can't send you a link it's a secure site. good luck :-}
