Pontiac Repair: car stalling for no reasons, crank shaft, pontiac bonneville

I have a 94 Pontiac Bonneville that for no reasons will stall and restart right away and also sometimes when I trying to pass a vehicle on the highway it just soesn't accelerate enough to pass so I have to pull back

well if if just cuts out loike someone turned the key off. I would suspect a bad crank shaft posotion center. As for the will not accelerate does it start to misfire "run rough" or does it just lack power? If it lack power I would look at a plugged fuel filter. If it's starts to misfire I would look at suspect either a bad plug wire or spark plug. good luck :)
