Pontiac Repair: side windows, power door locks, blown fuse

Question
what would make side rear window in a 1997 pontiac transport stop  working? they want open.

Answer
Hi Virdell:

did they both quit working at the same time? If so it's either a blown fuse, bad switch or a broken wire under the right front sill plate, Especially if you like in a damp climate like I do in the rust belt. The wire harness under the sill plate collects water and the harness going to the rear of the van has splices that corrode and cause an open circuit to the rear windows. Did the power door locks quit working from either of the door switches? Usually that happens as well when you have the harness issue a different set of splices rot out. Good luck :)
