Porsche Repair: Porsch 944 85.5, air conditioner compressor, ac service

Question
It would seem today that my air conditioner compressor is not engaging when I turn on the A/C.  Is there a fuse or low pressure switch that could be causing this?  Where should I start trouble shooting?

1st, apply 12v to the ac Compressor. Does the compressor engage?
IF it does, then check the voltage at the trigger wire. If no 12 volts when the AC is turned on, then you need to follow the signal to the controls one circuit at a time. The next point is at the low pressure switch. Se if you have 12v on one side of the switch. If you do, then you either need a switch or a AC service recharge.
