Porsche Repair: porsche 944 balance shaft settings., shaft gears, balance shaft

hi there
i have just put a new water pump no my 1982 944. i was fine with putting the timing belt back. but im not sure about the balance shaft settings. the car is set at top dead centre. and the timeing belt is back on. the two balance shaft gears have alittle notch on them. im not sure where they should be positioned as i put the balance belt back. to set them as i put

The upper spproket lines up with the mark on the rear drive belt cover( see manual)
Remove the end cap in lower drive belt cover. Check positionof the mark through this hole.

Mark on the sproket must align with themark o fthe rear drive belt cover.
