RV Repair: Dometic RM2603 refigerator, insulation material, frig

Hi Bill,

I have a Dometic RM2603 refigerator in a motorhome.  The freezer works fine on both gas and electric but the refigerator does not work with either gas or electric.  What could be wrong?

Hi Rob:
There is only one cooling system for the refrigerator and it cools both the refrigerator and the freezer. Find a thermometer and measure the temp in both. Ideally the freezer should be minus 10 or so and the frig about 38-40 degrees. If the freezer is cold enough but not the fridge then the passage that brings cold to the fridge is blocked, ice maybe or insulation material and needs to be cleared.
