RV Repair: 2002 Jayco Talon ZX exterior panel replacement, ups truck, aluminum panels

Question
I'm looking at buying a used 2002 Jayco Talon ZX. The front bottom two aluminum panels are damaged along with the strip between the front and side on the left. Is this expensive to do? How hard of a job is it to replace these parts?
Also the rear room of the toyhauler has 3 large cuts in the vinyl floor along with a 6"x6" peice that is gone. How tough to replace the vinyl?

Answer
Both should be easy to repair.
The metal should just come unscrewed and replaced using the same screws. You will have to get with Jayco, or one of their dealers to obtain the parts. As far as how expensive, that depends on how large the pieces are, and whether they have to ship via truck freight or UPS. Truck freight is about 3X as much as UPS. Generally, anything over 8 feet long has to ship truck freight.
If the vinyl comes up easily, then it should be a breeze to change out. If not, then you might want to consider overlaying it with a new piece. If you do that, just make sure you fill in the void where the 6X6 piece was first.
Hope this helps some,
Dave
