RV Repair: Roof Rot, roof rot, rubber roof

Question
I have a 2001 Nomad 250LT that was leaking around the skylite over the tub and had it fixed under warranty. Now the roof all around the skylite is all rotted under the rubber roof.
This covers about an area of 6' X 3' any suggestions on the fix? All the rafters still feel solid.

Answer
As long as you are sure the rafters are good, and you don't care what the roof looks like afterwards, you should be able to cut the section of rubber roof out that is bad underneath. Then replace the decking that is rotten. Then you will have to buy a piece of rubber roof that is slightly larger than the piece you cut out. Re-glue it in place and make sure you seal it very well with lap sealant.
The most important thing here is to make sure it is glued and sealed well. That is what I would do.
