RV Repair: Roof leak repair, roof leak repair, kool seal

Gerald  What type of material would you recomend to reseal the roof where I cut it?  I purchased some kool seal to reseal the seams.  Will this seal to the rubber roof where I cut it away?  Or do you recomend something else?  Thanks Ray

It depends on the size of the repair, If it is not too big you can use the kool seal. If you do this with kool seal try the following.
1. clean the edges where the seal will be with alachol.
2. Put several holes in the rubber along the edge.
3. Lift the edges and put a layer of seal down.
4. Lay the rubber down on the seal.
5. Spread a new layer on top of the area.
