RV Repair: ceiling and cabinet removal and repair, roof vent, ft class

i have a 1979 cobra,25 ft,class a chev p30 chassis,the problem is the roof has leaked and i need to remove the ceiling panels from the front roof vent,repair and replace the vent and the plywood above it,the cabinets need to come out to do this,any suggestions? thanks a bunch,dave

If your coach is built like most I have seen, there is no removing the ceiling panels.  They are part of a sandwich type construction whereby the outer skin, the outer panel, the insulation and the inner panel are all glued together in a press and come out as one unit.  The only way to really fix the situation is to refabricate a new roof system.
