RV Repair: Linileum repair, shoe molding, jayco dealer

Question
I live in Alaska and it seems that a little moisture got under and cracked my linileum floor only by the door area. How easy is it to change out the linoleum and do I have to replace the whole floor since it seem to be one piece? I do not seem to have any water damage and the floor looks good. Thanks!

Answer
Cal,

When ever we have a bad spot in the linoleum we always replace the whole thing.  It can be patched, but it is usually very noticeable and gets worse with time.  We are a Jayco dealer and even they have stopped patching when a unit is damaged in production.  It is just a matter of cutting the old piece out (hopefully it isn't glued so you can use it for a template) and removing it and putting the new piece in.  We usually trim around the walls and cabinets with a shoe molding that matches the rest of the inteior.  I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.
