RV Repair: Generator problem, automatic transfer switch, windsport

Question
I hope this question meets the above criteria.  When plugged into 110 power, all componants work.  When the generator is running, we do not have any 110 items.  No TV, microwave, or AC.  Slide outs work.  All breakers seem good.  Any ideas?  2000 Windsport by Thor.

     Have you checked the breaker on the generator itself?  It may be tripped.  If not then my best guess is that you have an automatic transfer switch that isn't working.  In order to run off of the generator do you have to physically plug the 30 amp cord into a receptacle, or does it change over itself?  If it changes over itself then it sounds like a bad transfer switch.  If you have a Magnetek converter the transfer switch is mounted on the backside of it.  I hope this helps.
