how do i set the carb and choke i am having trouble keeping the engine running correctly it runs with choke all the way out but when i push the choke in it cuts off

It sounds like you just need to clean out your carb a bit.
On the bottom of the carb, the bowl is held on with a brass
nut, older models had a thumbscrew in this nut.  This is also
the jet.  Remove this nut/jet, and look at it closely, fuel/dirt will
be dribbling out of the carb, so let it dribble out some to remove crud.  Look at the jet, in the side of it will be some tiny holes.
Clean them out, look for a real tiny one at the top of the threads,
clean it as well.  Reinstall, and start the engine, and see if this cures it.  If not, a more thorough cleaning will be needed.  Try this and let me know.
