Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblower problem, tecumseh engine, engine model

Question
Hello. I have a Craftsman 5HP snowblower that I am having trouble with.  I believe the engine model# is HSSK50 LH195SA (its a Tecumseh engine).  The machine idles fine and the self propel is fine.  When I engage the auger drive, the motor drops rpms, but quickly recovers.  When I try to put a load on the auger (throwing snow) the rpms drop severely and then the motor stalls.  I have replaced the belts for both the auger and drive system. I have changed the gas, and I have cleaned the carb with an aerosol type cleaner. What else can I try?  I'm not really sure how to adjust the carb (idle screws, etc) and not knowing if this is the problem, I dont's want to make the situation worse. Is there any hope for this machine?

Thank you

usually when you engage the auger you will hear a slight drop in the rpm's then the Governor will take over  to bring the speed up to the load. Sounds like the GOVERNOR needs adjusted when the load is applied. Check to see if any springs came loose or if the governors  arm is loose yOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST THE GOVERNOR.
