Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): No spark, side shaft, mt dew
QuestionHello John
How do you set the magneto on a 4 hp Tecumseh side shaft?
It used to be on a snowblower now we want to ue it for a minibike.
Answer Hello Tom:
The Coil/Magneto is Set .015in from the Flywheel. You can use a Cardboard Side Panel from a 24pk of Mt Dew and put it Between the Coil/Magneto and Turn the Flywheel Until the Magnets on the Flywheel Pull the Coil/Magneto to the Flywheel. Tighten the Coil/Magneto and Turn the Flywheel to Remove the Cardboard. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
Respectfully
John
