Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HRM215 Transmission, installation questions, fasteners

Hi Michael,

I saw your question about your repair.  I to have to change my HRM215 transmission.  The repair shop wants $240-$250 to repair.  They will sell the transmission for $145.12 + tax.  I was wondering if you could assist me?  Do you by chance have the breakdown to replace it?  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ron,

Sure, I could help you with installation questions.  I don't have any detailed intructions to send you but the transmissions should be easily swapped by removing the linkage and unbolting any fasteners and parts.
